I have said this before- but if they are literally exhuming Confederate generals and pulling down Lee Circle, "Fightin Tigers" is easy pickings.
I wouldnt be surprised if they start going after museums next- the Confederate Museum is literally right next to Lee Circle.

What amazes me is all of those people represented by the statues have a direct connection to New Orleans.
Lee - Louisiana tigers regiment
Beauregard - hometown
Davis - died here (private home uptown),funeral was held here, originally buried here (Metairie Cemetery).
Why remove them? It's too much I guess to ask these assholes to have a knowledge of history over 20 years ago. Maybe they should just put them in Metairie Cemetery.

What should be put in place of Lee Statue is a coffin to symbolize the real status of the current New Orleans.

If Lee Circle is a nuisance, then maybe the office of the Mayor of NO, the City Council Chamber, the State Capitol in BR, the US Capitol Building and the White House are also nuisances and need to be cleared out and their inhabitants placed in some obscure museum.

I can't believe at one time I did like Landieu . I should have known better than to trust anyone with beady eyes like his. Does the pos realize who pays his salary? He sure would have a big cut in pay when the whites get enough and decide to leave taking their money with them.
