Is there a way that I can forward SMS/MMS to my old phone that I use for a mp3 player at the gym? I leave my phone in the cubbie because I have broken too many at the gym. Don't wanna miss anything if wife calls about anything regarding the babies. There is wifi in the gym. Maybe some app I am unaware of?

Assuming you don't have an iphone with imessaging, there are several wifi texting options, but I believe your wife would need to use the same app (whatsapp, viber, hangouts, etc).

The wife and I almost exclusively IM via hangouts which would work over wifi.

eta: I think you could do this with mightytext. I've never used it, so I don't know if it would work.

Get mysms on both devices. I can send and receive texts from my tablet. Not sure about phone calls though.
