I watched more softball than baseball in the finals, I know that. I've always ragged on softball but it was actually pretty fun to watch minus all the chanting non stop

No one watches college baseball. No one except parents and a few die hard fans.

That's what happens when you have two prestigious academic schools in the finals. No one wanted to really watch.

And certain fans on the Rant who think it's as big as football and basketball.

the demographics were

( I predict )

many women watched it.

there are always a dozen men's sports on TV diluting the viewership.

What dozen men's sports were going on earlier this week?

Michigan and UF are bigger markets than Vandy- Virginia. Also, softball is a fast up tempo sport. Once people get over that they are watching softball they usually enjoy it.

I watched the womens CWS more than the mens..... its faster paced. Only baseball I watched was LSU.

I've actually enjoyed watching softball the last couple seasons. The fast pace makes it fun to watch.

I'm not a big baseball guy, but softball is downright unwatchable...and part of the reason is how hard the dugout girls try to get on TV. The other part is the inferior play.

it's still... women's softball...

same reason i'm not really watching the women's world cup

now there is something missing with TD Ameritrade Park... maybe it's the fact that one team's fans never make up 95% of the crowd like they do on campus sites. neutral Omaha fans are the reason for the quiet.

I blame that POS whistler from Vanderbilt. I turned off games involving them because I couldn't stand listening to that crap.

If I am remembering correctly, softball is the largest growing sport in this country.

A lot of people complain about the number of baseball travel teams, they pale in comparison to softball travel teams.
