First third of the season this was the scariest lineup in the country

Now, not so much

I don't think these people hitting it back to the pitcher every time we're ever very good hitters.

Fool's gold. Our offense is a shell of former teams. A shell.

Rios would give this team power.

We've been slumping for a looong time now. Anyone who thought we'd come out bashing the ball is in denial.

We don't hit good pitching... We haven't hit good pitching for about 5 seasons. That's what happened.

You face much better pitching in the back part of the year. The fact is we do not hit good pitching very well.

Hitting is definitely not there.

We went against one of the elite SPs in all of college baseball, so I'm actually pleasantly surprised we were able to end up with 3 runs (I know they took him out pretty early in his pitch count). We actually looked better today at the plate than we did all postseason and Bregman got a couple of hits.

You'd be crazy not to pitch to them

Good pitching. We do great once we get past the starter.

Nothing happened to the offense.

They were never that good to begin with.

Poor hitting approach. Swinging at strikes on the corner early at the count. Swinging at curveballs with less than 2 strikes. Trying to pull outside pitches. This has been going on for a month.

The prevailing wisdom on the rant was to FIRE JAVI. That will fix it. Wait, we already did that. What a bunch of pussies. We were cruising until Poche went brain dead and couldn't convert routine ground balls into outs. I feel bad for him. I hope he can come back and help this team get back into contention.
