Julie insinuated that we would know this week, so I am guessing they are saving it for the live show tonight. I wouldn't be surprised if we get to see everything you described above tonight.

I think it's going great. Keep seeing that this is a great cast and it should be a memorable season. There's so much that's happened.

My fear about this season is they are going to vote out the pot stirrers the first few weeks, and everyone left will generally like each other and it will turn boring.

just started watching prom. jeff and liz really brought it wardrobe wise

so did the house ask production to supply them with prom clothes or something?

Eventually, BB isn't even going to be the same show from earlier seasons, and instead will be another reality show like the kardashians only with 14 strangers instead of famous families. Actually, by that point half the house will alreayd be famous people.

10:13 BB time is when they start the blue carpet walk. that is followed by the talent competition. johnny mac and becky killed it. after that crowning of king and queen.

My biggest concern is this utterly moronic BBTakeover idea that is already annoying as frick. Wtf does kathy griffin have to do with BB, why is she taking over anything? It kinda defeats the whole presmise of the show IMO (which should be, throw strangers in a house and shut them off for 3 months) if you have america tweet stuff for a mole to do, you throw in already semi-famous TV people, you have guest stars come interact with the house, production is bringing people chinese food, etc. Frick that.

This type of stuff though isn't that different from things that they've done since the start (or at least since the format shifted to its current form).

For instance, with the Chinese food, in season four, there were multiple weeks where the contestants became walking advertisements for fast food places as Burger King and Subway (and maybe later McDonald's I cant remember) were brought in as part of luxury comps. There have regularly been instances of treating the cast to little outside meals here and there.

Having pseudo celebs pop up is also not that unusual. Off the top of my head I remember Neil Patrick Harris, Tori Spelling, Jeremy Piven and the aforementioned Kathy Griffin showing up before. Their interaction with the cast is usually minimal and amounts to some passing promotion. It just seems like this year they're going to do it more frequently.

If the Takeover is just this type of promotional thing, then I think that benefits the game. It's going to be far worse if they start bringing back the keys or the coup d'etat at just the right time to save someone's arse.

TL; DR - Nothing happening so far this year is that much different from any other year except that the cast has been surprisingly great so far.

Here's to Audrey winning one of the HOH positions tonight in the spirit of chaos making the feed more entertaining.
