EVERYONE IS HAVING SO MUCH FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!

*Cut to camera, aubrey solo being a fun sponge

I don't have the feeds. Assuming the plan is still to get jace out, is it pretty well assumed that audrey is the next one out since everyone dislikes her?

My biggest concern is this utterly moronic BBTakeover idea that is already annoying as frick. Wtf does kathy griffin have to do with BB, why is she taking over anything? It kinda defeats the whole presmise of the show IMO (which should be, throw strangers in a house and shut them off for 3 months) if you have america tweet stuff for a mole to do, you throw in already semi-famous TV people, you have guest stars come interact with the house, production is bringing people chinese food, etc. Frick that.

Kathy Griffin has come on the show for many seasons, and she doesn't really affect gameplay. As far as america voting for things like what they eat and all, that's been going on for years, and its a way to keep people tuned in.

so did the house ask production to supply them with prom clothes or something?

No they all had their own clothes.

Eventually, BB isn't even going to be the same show from earlier seasons, and instead will be another reality show like the kardashians only with 14 strangers instead of famous families. Actually, by that point half the house will alreayd be famous people.

It'll never be like the kardashians, but yes it changes over time. It has to change. You can keep the same formula, but tweak it, cause keeping things the same year after year gets stale. I hope we see a drastic change soon to make it more like BBCan which IMO was above and beyond anything the US version does.

I'd never assume she's the next one out.. she's good at manipulation... really good.

I get that, I'm more so talking about america having a DIRECT impact on the outcome of the game. Picking the slop menu doesn't alter the game play. Telling a mole to do or say certain things absolutely does.

Who is the mole? And if they're bringing back all the past BB twists, who are the long lost siblings?

Well, overall it's just a lot cooler than our version.

The house is fricking amazing:

Their opening is the shite

Seriously, watch the first episode

On top of that they have mastered the art of twists, and drama. They use the twists and lighting effects to really pull you in and make you feel suspense... its just a totally different experience.

Live feeds are free.

Their studio is better than ours. Its bigger, and the outside is more like a TV production, with a larger audience (who isn't told they have to be quiet and not boo).

Simply put the Canadians did it better, like most television, the Candians are better at it.

The Canadian house is a lot more impressive; definitely seems cooler.

I completely disagree with everything else you said though. The manufactured twists are just constant and over-the-top. More over-produced than the US show. Way cheesier than US Big Brother (the way you'd imagine a Canadian Big Brother to be). Can't stand it.

We can agree to disagree, not everything is for everyone.

The biggest turn off for me is the perception at least that production is dabbling. When they do obvious twist to keep a player in the game even though it may be a good player it screws up the game for me.

Agree 100%. I understand that there's going to be some interference, but I hate when production does something crazy to truly affect the game (most evident in Jeff's Coup d'etat in season 11). Sure, I hated Chima but that was just wrong.

I'll admit that I just watched season 1 of Canada and tried to start season 2 but couldn't take it. Just seems like production is constantly meddling. Sometimes it would be humorous. For instance, I saw a clip from season two where one house guest got the choice of keeping $5k or letting her housemates get letters from the outside. She took the $5k but didn't realize that the houseguests were watching her deliberation the whole time. That was funny and for all intents and purposes had zero effect on the game as best I could tell.

Awarding in-game powers out of nowhere has never been that interesting to me unless it's something that everyone can compete for in the house. If it's a secret power, then it just seems arbitrary (even if voted on by "America.")

The "voted on by America" deal is scetchy though. Those numbers can easily be fudged to fit production agenda.
