Shreveport is the best city of it's size to get around in but I can't even imagine what it is like with all of the folks in Haughton and Bossier trying to get to work in Shreveport with no 220 or Clyde Fant.

It usually takes 15 minutes to get to work going up either parkway. It took an hour to get home this afternoon.

I pictured all of Haughton, Benton and Bossier trying to get to work in Shreveport over the Texas St Bridge and in my mind I imagined it kinda like the apocalypse.

We had a primer for this round with the ice and snow a few months back. I told the wife if not for 220, N Bossier would still be a pine thicket.

I live on bistineau. Mowed the grass last Thursday. I mow right up to the lake. It was pretty far up yesterday when I mowed again (had a couple low spots that were too wet earlier) and now it's about 25 feet closer than it normally is.

I doubt I'll flood since I'm a good ways back and pretty far uphill. Neighbor might not be so lucky. His pier is almost under already.

It's a shite show. Normally if 20 is backed up I'll go south thru Haughton and take Sligo to go over to 71 then over the Jimmie Davis bridge. But Sligo is closed too. Looks like it'll be all surface streets in the morning for me.

So you mean without a loop, traffic will suck? What a novelty! if BR could be so progressive.

Willis Knighton North had to send the lifecare chopper to WK Bossier to pick up a critical patient. Trying to transport them in an ambulance would have taken an hour or more.

This patch of rain seems to be following the river south.
