Gotcha. But for sake of humanity, none of us want to believe that completely random shite like that happens. Things that caught my attention were obviously the weed there and the whole "wheres the money?". Could be that the guy they regularly got their weed from told someone he had some well-heeled white boys as customers and that led to set up. I ain't got a clue and not assuming. I'm just wondering based on my experience. A wealthy(family) white dude I knew was jacked out of 6k because his normal dealer told a cousin about him and cousin was not so friendly. shite like that happens. Still hope these assholes get life in prison. Just trying to make heads or tails of it because it's posted. Don't be all crucifying meeeee.

Ummm I don't want to be a dick or anything but this is completely false.
Here is the rub, if a defendant admits to me that he committed the crime, I can't argue that he did not commit the crime. I argue that the state cannot prove that he committed the crime. I cannot lie.
Cork, good luck and congrats on getting through this fay and seemingly keeping your sanity.

It's none of anyone else's business why they were there. The thugs were living their life, and they guys from HC were bothering no one while trying to live theirs'. Good reason to keep weapons handy.
To Corky, sorry you had to go through this trauma, and are having to go through this travesty.
Praying for you to get peace, and justice for these assholes.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)

I love that the defense's big argument was that y'all had weed in the house. Your honor, they were high, my clients just sprayed them with water guns a few times.

I agree. I'm not implying they deserved jack shite. I'm just trying to speculate on a motive or anything to suggest it wasn't random "oh this house has white kids in it let's go rob them".
Kind of like the Mexican laborers after Katrina being targeted for robberies. They were carrying shitloads of cash. They didn't deserve to get robbed but it was at least an explanation of why.

Dont crucify me either but from reading the advocate article you pretty much asked these thugs to shoot you. Granted the situation I would have done the same thing but for those boys to run up in that house they got some info there was a lot of money or weed in the house. Pick who you choose to hang with wisely, and hopefully the lee brothers never see light again

Good point. And i want to know the story behind Corkfather nickname and the way he boldly said "i'm not opening that... door".
Did the "..." imply he said "fricking" as in any door but THAT door? What was behind that door besides his friend? Was he protecting his friend under some loyalty code? Sorry guys but if a gun is to my head, I'm opening any door in a house unless my child is behind it. And even then I wouldn't say "I'm not opening that fricking door".
But I'm a pussy computer nerd. So.....
Can't help but to be curious. It seems like they weren't all that scared of, or anticipated, some kind of drama in their lives.

I'm trying not to believe that here. But... corkfather sounds like a badass(no pun at all), stood up to the killers, and they were high and had weed in the house(i presume more than one usually smokes aka possession).
lots of questions. How long had they lived that the guy's mother's house? Was it a rental property prior to them moving in? Who lived in it before? Were they involved in drug trade in the neighborhood? Quick Google Street view of the street leads one to believe they were a minority on that street in particular.

If cork and his friends were 4 black guys, how would this thread go?
And yes from the story, It sounds like Cork is a lot more brave than me. Then again I don't run in those circles.

I am sure this has been mentioned but:
holy shite these frickers are dumb...

Wells' cellular phone was stolen during the assault, and seeing that the device was still in use, New Orleans police tracked it to Lee's house, said Assistant District Attorney Laura Rodrigue, prosecuting the case with Elizabeth Killian. Lee inserted his subscriber identification module, or SIM card, which contains information about the user, into Wells' phone, Rodrigue said.

Well I have the misfortune of having been in armed robberies more than once. I DO NOT like looking down a barrel of a gun . It kind of makes me obey what they ask for. The first time I was robbed. He told me GTFO after I gave him my wallet and I started to get out the car like it was a carjacking when he said "nah ni**a get the frick outta here for I kill yo arse." That was traumatizing.
That said, I think they were targeted either by being white boys in the hood or having dealings with other dealers. Their faces may have not been familiar but them killers knew where and who they were robbing.

Man that shite is rough. I hope you get some closure on this and can move past it completely....although I'm sure that it a helluva lot easier for me to say than for you to do.
Prayers up bro.

I had a dumb arse cracked out kid steal my iphone 4 a while back and he turned it on. I tracked him down to the local cellphone shop and called the store while he was inside and said "is some cracked out whiteboy trying to sell an Iphone?"
Yep. Scared the bajeezus out of that kid. He was on drugs though. Sweating and rubbing his face at 10 am.
