Been reading it for two days .. Amazed that someone who got in for free seems to be wanting to incite an e-lynch mob to injure a local, tax paying business .. If that's cool with you, then move on ..

There's plenty of places in town that are getting accolades in here .. Just go there and leave this business alone .. Do they really have to go out of their way to hurt these guys ?

competition breeds superior product all around. at this time, it does not appear that PH is living up to providing adequate competition.
i truly believe that FDB wants this place to succeed as a beer place or as a glorified Applebee's.....just pick one

E-lynch mob, thats funny. Until you entered this thread, i posted maybe 3 times stating my opinion. I hardly see that as "inciting an e-lynch mob."

I've had all the same lukewarm experiences as well. I think the Pelican House just carries an air of lacking. They did too many things "ok" and not enough well which makes them come off like a Chili's with 150 taps.
1. Bartenders who don't GAF and are too busy chatting to serve.
2. Being out of beer I choose.
3. Slow service or people who don't know shite about the beers.

The place is pretty crowded every weekend .. The parking lot is full .. They're appealing to someone, Rouge .. My guess is a handful of butt hurt beer snobs really don't have an effect on the place and that bothers them ..

Nope .. It's crappy to try to harm a business and hurt someone's livelihood for one's own tiny, selfish reasons .. Everyone talks about how nice these guys are .. Then why hurt them ? If you're not happy with the place, then just move on to another .. Because you don't like it, it doesn't mean another 50 people won't .. Sorry .. I just find this crappy ..
