Texas A&M lost their top 8 seed over the weekend. Note: this isn't a bad regional at all, also the regional we are paired up with doesn't look bad either.

Everyone is scared of Rice because of what they did to us with Smoke as the coach.

Both Skip and Paul are undefeated against Rice in postseason play. Besides, they're not that good this year.

I don't think rice could come here and upset us, I guess it is a possibility, but they are no Houston, Houston should have hosted and they didn't. LSU hit a stride and didn't have top 8 talent. This year is much different.

Skip lost to Rice twice in a regional at the Box one year.

I'm not sure Tulane has done enough to make the field yet. They're close but still have work to do.

I don't see Ole Miss as a #2 seed. Do I believe there are 32 better teams than them this year?...Yes.

Auburn & Missouri better get their act together quick.

Was it the 2009 SR that Rice had the best, or one of the best plyers, in college baseball hurt his foot at the Box? It looked bad but turned out okay. He plays with the Nationals and we razzed him because he looks a little like Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite.

I can feel the Aggies already bitching if they get paired with DBU after blowing this past week.. Does DAllas baptist have any contingencies to expand capacity? Facilities are sweet but at 2k and possibility of the Aggies, I am curious

I'm sure there's a minor league park in the Dallas area they can use. No matter where they played, it would be 95-99% Aggies.

not this year. and this is far easier than other teams that could be paired..

While it's baseball and anything can happen, you are correct. My Houston amigos tell me Rice is nowhere near the team LSU defeated in a tough series a few years back. UH is better than Rice and the Cougars aren't nearly as good as they were a year ago either. Sets up well for LSU if it comes down to Rice being the number 2 seed in BR.

Dbu ain't getting a super over A&M

Aggies will be top 8 unless they get swept at ole miss or lose 2 of 3 and are 2 and out in tourney
