I'm baffled on what the story line with Jon is going to be. He needs to get off his arse and get to Winterfell and be the King of the North but he is too honorable to break his vow. It's also a slap in the face that a bastard got his last name and is the apparent heir to the North and it's not Jon Snow.

Dani just needs to let her dragons loose as a show of power but she needs to get some damn boats and go fight the damn white walkers. Did Tyrian ever get a raven from Castle Black about the WWs when he was the hand?

Theon + Sansa + Brean + squire bitch boy are about to frick this wedding up.

It was cool to see Valyria and the stone men. And for those asking about the greyscale, they had a 5 minute scene discussing it either last week or 2 weeks ago

Remember the scene but may have missed some of what was said. What it physically does to someone infected is obvious and how easy it is to spread is also obvious, but did Stanis (or anyone else) ever mention what the disease does to the infected's mind/brain? Does it turn them into mindless zombie like killers also? Because the one's in this episode attacked a boat without warning and seemingly with a "kill everything" type of mindset.

With that said, I find it goes against GoT logic that anyone with this disease would just be shipped off to Valyria instead of being executed immediately.

Steal or rape or commit any crime? Cut off hands or mutilate as punishment or banish them to the wall. Often public execution is also allowed depending on the crime. Disobey an order from a superior (regardless if it's a military superior or someone just higher than you in the class system like a King/Queeen/Lord etc...)? Instant execution is acceptable. Desert a military post? Instant execution. A singer/jester or whatever doesn't entertain a tyrannical King properly? Mutilation or executed. And quite often the limbs or bodies of these executed are posted on the cities walls to remind everyone to keep their shite together. The point is that this world is filled with unjust killing, torture and other types of mutilation and it's accepted depending on the situation. Contract a disease that is instantly transmittable by the slightest touch and that can wipe out the entire worlds population in an extremely short time if an infected person happens to walk into a populated city? They have to be put to death to save the entire worlds population, right? Surely that would be accepted and understandable given the seriousness of this situation and considering all of the other reasons death is an acceptable solution, right? Nope - banish to a deserted city and cross your fingers they don't ever decide to leave and pray that some jackass doesn't travel to said deserted city (now filled with mindless, uncivilized, infected killers), get himself infected, and return back to civilization to infect everyone. Thanks Jorah.

Did I miss an entire conversation on why the infected aren't put to death immediately instead of shipped off?

Edit: And mercy killing is 100% accepted. It's even considered somewhat honorable to give someone suffering a painless, instant death. shite, most people suffering beg for it. But someone with this disease is mailed off to suffer instead of mercifully put down? Not buying it and it goes against GoT logic, imo.

I'm guessing Danny thinks if she marries a local (Hizdahr zo Loraq) then the people will see her as one of them. A way to bond them if you will.

But doesn't this completely frick up all of her plans to rule Westeros? How do we know this douche even wants to leave Meereene? As much as he loves that damn place and it's traditions. This DB could be the future King? I just dont see it.

Maybe he doesn't want to leave and that's exactly what Danny needs. Someone to stay behind and rule while she can head to Westeros.

I've got the feeling that Bolton's fat impregnated pig is gonna get it in the belly.

Just not sure yet who is going to do it.

Exactly my thinking about that situation. She can start a royal family in Mereen and still make her way to Westeros. Maybe her end game now is to have rule in both Westeros and Essos.

I'm growing concerned that she is just fine with being Queen of Essos effectively and that would suck major arse.

Meanwhile shite is seriously about to go down to the West. Stannis marches on Winterfell while Roose implants an infectious idea into Ramsey's head about the new child.

I absolutely hate that Jon is going North (like someone else said). He lays out a perfect plan to help the Wildlings, so what does the wildling do? He says, I'll only take your absolutely generous offer if you come with us? WTF??? Makes no sense. Sure Jon could use the wildlings but not that damn much where he needs to go get them. He's trying to save them and make peace.

Yeah it drives them completely crazy

As for the rest, were people sent there or did the disease originate there and that's what destroyed the city?

Could just as easily see Ramsey killing Roose TBH.

This is much more likely - Roose is old. Ramsay is the kind of evil troll I expect won't go away anytime soon (like Cersei).

Ramsay is GOT gold - hateable, insane, evil, etc.

The disease did not destroy the city per Tyrion's convo with Jorah.

Especially with having a pregnant girl with potential heir to the north at the wedding (as far as the Boltons see it).. Brace yourselves Red Wedding 2.0 is upon us. Revenge time baby.

Stannis said in last week's episode when he was talking to his daughter that some people told him to send her to Valyria

Seems out of place in the GoT universe that anyone infected wouldn't be mercifully put down and, instead, shipped off.

But it also makes Jorah's decision to go straight through Valyria to avoid pirates really F'ing stupid. Stanis was advised to send his daughter there, so it's obviously common knowledge that stone people carrying this extremely infectious disease reside there. And Jorah obviously knows about it because, as soon as they started attacking the boat, he knew exactly what they were.

Jorah: I know, let's go straight through the heart of this city known for it's diseased, mindless people in a f'ing row boat. We might have to fight off dozens/hundreds/thousands of them (who knows how many live there) and, during these physical fights, not allow them to touch any part of our skin or we're screwed. Oh, this city was previously destroy by a catastrophic event referred to as "doom", so who knows what lingering effects might still be around from that shite. So me and my imp prisoner, who is tied down no less, will take on this challenge (again...in a f'ing row boat!) instead of the 50/50 chance we "might" run into some human pirates whose only goal is financial gain and would most likely let us live considering the imp prisoner is priceless and him being delivered alive to ANY RULING FAMILY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD would make those pirates extremely rich beyond their wildest imagination.

Question about winter? How often does it come? If these WW just ravage through and murder everyone how have they been stopped in the past and how are there so many surviving Wildlings and northerners? Do they ever breach the wall and if not why? If a few Wildlings can almost do it why can't the WW?

And like Joffrey, he'll be killed off when his family doesn't need him anymore.

The real key to surviving in GOT is being smart and knowing how to use other people. Ramsey doesn't know how to use other people except to satisfy his psychotic need to torture people.

I know in season one the younger Stark kids were "Summer babies" and had never seen a winter so I assume about every 10-15 years or so.

They havent been seen in like 3000 years.

Because they move slow and aren't that agile. But they are hard as hell to kill.
