Never know. City wouldn't be mentioned in every article about him and a transfer if they weren't actual contenders.

Actually it doesn'tmean anything.

Quit killing my hopes and dreams. I'm honestly almost to the point where I don't get upset when City are mentioned for literally every big player and not getting them.

Will believe it when I see a picture of him leaning against the PSG crest.

Motta may be as well and Matudi

I think losing both of those guys makes PSG's midfield worse next season, even with the addition of Pogba.

Maybe, although Motta has declined a bit. You would move Luiz up to CDM I think so it would be Pastor-Ibra/Cavani-Lucas up front with Verratti-Pogba-Luiz in the middle and Aurier-Silva-Marqhinos-Maxwell at the back

Any midfield with a tandem of Verrati and Pogba is going to be pretty amazing. They will need to figure out if they can work as a pair or if they need a third, but if they keep Cabaye, a Verrati-Pogba-Cabaye midfield is going to be one of the best in the world.

the only thing with that is you're going to have a pretty thin squad after the first 2 or 3 off the bench. If they win the domestic treble this year and go this route in the summer I would hope they would just focus on the CL and Ligue 1 next season rather than complete in 4 competitions deep into April like they did this year.

I imagine they can keep Matuidi and Rabiot, right? Rabiot looks a good player. Big and strong with lots of technique.

The problem they've always had has been about spacing and structure. How to fit in all those excellent players. They could lose Cabaye and keep Matuidi, since I think Matuidi is the superior player though Cabaye is the better passer. Yet Cabaye is more static, and less likely to leave the midfield exposed if Pogba and Verratti go upfield. Not that Matuidi wouldn't be able to hold the midfield. If Pogba goes to PSG, I imagine they will be able to do employ a variety of midfield strategies to compete across as many cups as they desire. But I think Pogba is moving for the sake of the CL, with the domestic competitions secondary.

PSG aint selling one of their core players unless they have no choice.

they shouldn't but around 60 million pounds on one player is going to cripple them in terms of buying anyone else. Especially now that the euro has gone down the toilet.

no but we are realistic on how good it is.

There is no demand for it bc its quality is not great hence why PSG's tv revenue is pretty shitty.

don't necessarily need to buy anyone else, just take on a few loan to buys.

Wrong, y'all are way over the top. I have never said that's a great league, but it's not utter shite either like some of you try to act.

Ligue 1's tv revenues are about the same as the Bundisliga's. is that a shite league?

I disagree. The French have consistently produced technical quality players who just happen to have massive attitude problems. The league is full of quality players and good teams. The demand isn't their because the French league isn't as historically sexy as Germany, Italy or Spain, and honestly on the international stage they are a come-lately. I think their relatively recent ascendance explains the poor TV revenue, not the quality of the league itself.
