I was all ohio in football and baseball. Mr. Basketball for ohio in basketball. 12 varsity letters. Im in the top 10 in ohio all time stats for receiving yards, and points scored in basketball. I dont know if they have all time baseball stats for ohio. Went 30-3 on the mound with a career 1.06 era. Took my talents to kentucky for baseball.

All of my PR's were junior year because I just never improved my senior year. I was decent and ran DIII in college.

couple months ago I found a scrap book my mom made when I was in HS of all the newspaper write ups from when I played basketball.(at least when I started as a freshamn because jr high doesn't get writeups)

I was surprised at how often I scored I was a grinder and an undersized 4/5. She had my stats at end of each season and besides freshaman year I averaged a double double...shocked me looking back on it.

Lets see.

2004-2005 - I was the starting CB on the scout team and JV team for Live Oak High School. I was pretty damn big for a corner (5'10" about 180 pounds) and great at stopping the sweep. That being said, I was pretty bad when the ball was in the air (I think I only had one interception all year?)
2005-2006 - Did not play due to having most of my left lung removed.
2006-2007 - I was the starting right tackle at Live Oak for 80%+ of the games. I only weighed around 215, but I only let up one sack all year. That being said, once we hit district, I couldn't move any of the DEs in the run game, but I was pretty damn good at getting to the linebackers. Our QB was relatively talented; however, he threw a TON of interceptions, so I think I was credited with six tackles during the year.

Fwiw, had the lung surgery not happened I probably would have moved to outside linebacker and had looked relatively good during the spring.

All in all, it was not a highschool career to write home about.

I started a few games at DE junior year but I was undersized and slow and would get thrown around. I got demoted to special teams and only played special teams my senior year. I basically had DJ Welters college career but in high school

I also started 2 years at catcher and was good defensively but couldn't hit for shite and they would DH for me most of the time

I've been a complete stat geek basically my entire life, and it just dawned on me...not only do I not know it now, I'm not sure that I kept track of my tennis record when I played in high school. WTF was wrong with me!!!

I know I never played tennis before 10th grade, Picked it up and made the team in 10th grade(probably moreso cause we needed to fill spots than I was just a natural, or maybe just a touch of both lol), was a sub most of the season.

11th grade I was ok

Senior year – Again, I don’t really know for sure, but I don’t think I lost more than 2 or 3 matches. I do know, district title on the line in the last match of the season, and my doubles match was the last match of the day, winner decided district…and we lost.

Your DBT knowledge is always on point!!!

I befriended the tennis playing Falgout in 10th grade...that's the only reason I took up tennis. I didn't even have a racket, he just gave me one of his to use for the season.

Through my junior year, I basically learned everything I knew about tennis from the Falgout playing twin. In high school tennis, there really is only 2 things to know though: hit to your opponent's backhand and go to the net.

The way you nailed this one, pretty freaky.

I wish they would have kept stats for varsity sport fricking. I was all state my junior and senior years. Was only all district as a sophomore. My mom bought me a letter jacket but the school wouldn't let me wear it.
