Bob Huggins....good guy or bad guy?

I know there is some controversy with Huggins, but I like him and hope he can win a NC one day.
What are your thoughts on Huggy Bear?

He's generally liked and respected. Coaching wise he's Belichickian without the sloppy hair.

Good guy, just a little rough around the edges. Not a media friendly type dude, but very loyal to those close to him.

I think good guy who doesn't care about academics whatsoever, but I guess he was on to the charade before anybody else caught on or he just didn't care what other people thought. He is certainly a great coach.

I've always liked him even though he has the rep of being an a-hole. His players seem to love him and he coaches physical, aggressive teams

About 10 years ago I was the beat writer for the University of Houston BBall team. It's not that he's unfriendly to the media, he just makes them ask actual questions instead of standard reporter speak. You're supposed to ask open ended questions so you can get a quote and I'd get a kick every time someone would craft out this long, convoluted question and he'd just respond with 'no' and move on to the next guy.

nice. Huggins is no dumbass, though a lot of people mistake him for one.
