Don't know why, but the "rocks" comment made me lol, and I had freakin grape juice in my mouth.

Hey y'all, answer me this......

Have anyone ever hit another boat with a lure that ventured a little too close, or been hit with a lure thrown from another boat because you came a little too close?

I have never been in either situation, but I'm kinda laid back/non confrontational on stuff like that. Dang, I have some friends though...jeez.......one guy in particular, he can get by God mad at folks that get up in his space. I feel sure some of you hot heads around here have launched the ol' lead weighted popping cork missile before, haven't y'all/fess up?

buddy and me were casted at once by a guy that came too close to us - go figure that one out. my buddy is a REAL bar room terror but let it go till he saw the guy back at the launch and asked "wtf?". guy who casted at us popped off with a smartass answer and then got THE EVER LIVING shite beat out of him.

I was white perch fishing one time up in your area and some dude kept inching closer until he finally threw his jig a little too far and it landed in my boat and got hung up on some rods...

I just smiled and said "here, let me get that"...then I whipped my knife out and cut his line with him sitting there watching...

he was smart enough not to press his luck and left without even asking for his bait...

We were killing the specks at enstar (platform near last island) guy comes up and anchors right where we were casting. I yelled WTF...he replied "we came a long way to catch fish". I tied on an old Topwater bait and broke it off on his anchor rope.

A friend and I were fishing at the bridge where the Industrial Canal goes into Lake Pontchartrain.
We were catching trout while tied up to the structure. The A-Holes saw us catching and moved their boat right across the hole from us. We argued a minute or 2 then they said F-you we're staying! I wanted to argue but my bud tied on a 6" plug with 3 treble hooks and bounced off thier outboard motor to much howling and threats. He apologized profusely and said he wasn't used to throwing that plug yet, but he'd get better. The next cast hit the front of the boat. To much cursing and threats of arse-whippings they saw the error of thier ways and left.

I cut a crank bait off for a guy that got it snagged in my anchor rope. He wasn't happy that I kept it.

Boat? No.
Shithead JetSki -- yep. Dude blasted by me twice going up into a canal around Niceville, FL. After the second time, I decided that if he comes back in, he's getting a trouble to the back. Sure enough, he comes cruising by, I smacked him right in the back of his life jacket with a floating rattle trap.

He took off and popped my line. Never came back. Losing the rattle trap was worth it.

frick a jetski.
