Trying to think of somewhere the wife and I can go. Would like something relaxing but also have the option to do some fun stuff. No Beach. Leave on a Wednesday and come back on Sunday. Thanks

get an over the water thatch hut in Bora Bora. Wife and I did that last year and it was the best two weeks of our lives. There was a hatch in the middle of the hut you could climb in and out of the ocean from. Amazing.

How about Charleston? Never been, but I hear it's nice.

We did Friday through Monday split between Vail and Denver, in September.

It was fantastic.

Fly up to Seattle. Lots to do up there. You can do the mountains, sea, spa, maybe baseball game.

I think Charleston or Napa/San Francisco would be great, also:

Boston
Chicago
Vancouver
Washington DC/VA wine country

Maine is America's best-kept travel secret, IMHO. Love it there. During Summer it's awesome.

Check out Blackberry Farms in TN. Haven't been yet but will be going before too long.

Hear it is pretty outstanding.

Devils Thumb Ranch, Tabernash. Colorado. The ranch's backyard is the continental divide.

Rocky Mountain National Park, breweries, Denver, drive/hike up some 14k foot mountains.

Flights into and out of Denver are usually reasonable.
