People have been talking about it all night. Figured the night shift could handle it.

I am curious what exactly is considered racist, except for the fact that they are very black..

Of course it's not racist. 7th Ward wouldn't have posed for it if it were.

Being offended at this is stupid.
Thinking it's racist means you assume black people will get offended.
Thinking it's racist is racist

Is it considered racist because they are VERY black?

Anyone saying it is racist has some explaining to do that won't make them look like they are ashamed of blackness.

When I see it, I see two black kids dressed nice at the Strawberry festival. I don't think anything bad about it at all.

There are very dark complected black people. If you would have put their eyes or teeth in it, people would say that is racist.

Is it because you don't see facial features? It looks artistic to me.

So, I guess I am missing it. Black skin is not something to be ashamed of and is there something about black people and strawberries that is racist? If so, then ok. But I was not aware.

And yes it's racist. If you have to ask, then yes.

Oh, but wait! Remember, liberal logic is art can't be racist, sexist, provocative, offensive, etc etc etc... Cause, y'all know, it's just art

why do they have to be black? What's the significance of the race of the characters depicted? I personally don't see it as racist but in this pussified America of not wanting to offend anyone I can see this stirring some shite.

I'd like to refer to my spinoff thread on racism on the PT. It's got a pretty unique and unfiltered look at the matter from a different perspective that some have expressed here

Because that's what the guy wants to paint. Are we supposed to restrict freedom of expression based on race to avoid hurt feelings now? It's art, it's supposed to elicit emotion. If the emotion you're feeling is racism, some deep introspection might be necessary.
