quote:

The only family is the traditional one. No chemical offsprings and rented uterus: life has a natural flow, there are things that should not be changed.”

ABC.es had more of the interview and have had it translated through the flawed Google translate:

“As a gay couple, we say no to gay adoptions. Just sons of chemistry and wombs for rent. Children must have a father and a mother.

“The family is not a fad. passenger. In it there is a supernatural sense of belonging, “says Stefano Gabbana. He is echoed by Domenico Dolce, “we have not invented the family. Has become an icon of the Holy Family. And it’s not about religion or social status, no two ways about it: you are born and there is a father and a mother. Or at least it should be. So I am not convinced that I call children of chemistry, synthetic children. Wombs for rent, elected semen from a catalog. And then go and explain to these children who the mother. Procreation must be an act of love. Today even psychiatrists are ready to face the effects of these experiments,” concludes Dolce.

Well...damn

D&G must not know how to business good. You don't alienate the gays when you're in the fashion biz.

I think they make a valid point. There may be many more unforeseen issues come about from children growing up in a same-sex marriage couple as guardians situation. Especially if they were test-tube conceived. Just a crazy way about it. Procreation and mother-father have been around since...well...human being were created, male and female also exists among other species of this world.

Well they didn't hold back

Though. I'm pretty sure their careers just ended. Gays, and the women surrounded by them, support their business. And that doesn't include all of the straight families who have used IVF to conceive their child.

They have an opinion and now people want to boycott and destroy their business.

I'm so sick of this attitude.

All I want are gay married couples to protect themselves from violence with a firearm while enjoying free speech rights.

That's my definition of freedom.

Also...when's the last time you saw a gay couple with a food stamp card?

They state the obvious but considering their circumstances it took guts to do so. I would guess that the gay community will be no more tolerate of the views of Dolce & Gabbana than the black community and liberal progressives are of Uncle Toms'.

Meh, they're entitled to their opinion.

Personally, I don't believe taking kids away from homes/parents who want them will do anyone any good. It is a shame how difficult and expensive it is for a suitable family to adopt.

How hard is it for people to respond neutrally to irrelevant questions like this? Simply, "that has nothing to do with our brand and the products we sell, so we do not wish to comment."
