Bourbon Street is a reeking cesspool of humanity.

Met a buddy down there today for drinks, as I often do on Lundi Gras. Every year it seems to get worse. We don't just attract people from out of town for Mardi Gras... we attract the absolute dregs from other places. The smell is horrible, and I'm not just talking about that unidentifiable ooze that accumulates in the gutters. Women with giant bellies flashing boobs that nobody wants to see.

Oddly, one block over on Royal.... it was nice and festive. Some fine ladies in tight cocktail dresses.

If you do this every year, then don't you expect this?

Was down there as well. Decided there's a reason it rains on Lundi Gras so often. Place needs a good cleansing. Stinks so bad.

The only acceptable place to be on Bourbon during Mardi Gras is on a balcony.

Bourbon is the worst place in Nola. It sucks.

Take your friends elsewhere, unless they are douchebag trash or you hate them.

It's the same every year on Bourbon, nothing new. Sometimes you hit a stretch of good looking tourists and sometimes you don't.
