Minus the Doris pics and the oysters this might be the crappiest collection of food pics I've seen.
I'll have to agree
I had better spreads of food at the Shreveport MG parades...

Play of the day was going to Tracey's on Saturday. Roast beef was OOC and set up a base like cement in my stomach.

Wish I would have taken photos of our parade food because it was a really fantastic spread.
Beyond the normal sandwiches and stuff, we did:
3 gallons worth of chargrilled oysters.
chorizo stuffed jalapenos on the grill.
spicy chicken sausage that was stuffed with gooey cheese
jalapenos stuffed with duck meat and wrapped in bacon done on the grill
cheesy artichoke dip and crackers
muffalettas
i cooked a white venison sausage gravy and brought biscuits to go with it
etc. etc.
Plus, I had a fantastic dinner at NOLA on Saturday night, and had a pretty awesome lunch at Mizado today. (Actually took pics there)
ETA: I just noticed. Is that corm in the crawfish pasta? Don't think I've ever seen such a thing.

What are you going to be eating during Lent?
Posted on 2/16/15 at 4:59 pm to jimbeam
No way he eats all that stuff, he'd been dead years ago.

I actually never use the word "venison". Not really sure why I used it.
Not much of a deer eater, to be honest. But the gravy was quite good.

Yes. It's pretty common in Nola. Look up crawfish Monica.

My toilet disagrees.

I've had Crawfish Monica, and no corn in it.
And when I Google, I'm not seeing corn in any of the photos.
(Not knocking it. I think I'd like that.)

Eh.
Do you realize how shitty a lot of people eat? Just look around the office at lunchtime. I don't think people generally realize how awful they eat. Even if you bring your lunch from home, if your wife cooked smothered meat and mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, you aren't doing much better than the person who picked up lunch from somewhere.
Arse has said before that he eats lighter during the week too.

Monica doesn't have corn, baw!!
