They still have Freeze running their program, while he has recruited well and won a few big games, the guy isn't real bright when it comes to Xs and Os.

The same can be said about Miles

I was really disappointed with Freeze after the whole Chad Kelly ordeal. It was blatant disrespect for authority and all Freeze could say was "I hope he doesn't embarrass us". This shows he doesn't have ANY standards as a leader and will sacrifice doing the right thing all in the name of winning. No respect for him anymore! Even if they do get lucky and beat us, we still win in life!

It might make me petty, but it will really piss me off if Shea commits to "old urine" on Mardi gras. To me, that makes him the ultimate tiger bait. It makes me cringe to hear tiger "fans" say that ole piss will Go 3-0 against us because of Patterson. I think these morons forget that we will have defensive talent as good as anyone in the country. Also, the kid is just a quarterback(albeit a good one). Stop acting like hes the reincarnation of joe montana. He has yet to play a college game. I've said it before: if he wants to go to ole piss, and wear searsucker suits, and have swoopy bangs, and say hotty totty(which is the stupidest thing that can escape human lips) so be it. Love ya' Shea, but you're tigerbait. P.s. what the Frick is "hotty totty". I imagine it as something said a lot on the dance floor of gay clubs

Uh....he's originally from Ohio, then Texas and has lived in Louisiana for less than 3 years so far. He is not a Louisiana product and he's not one of ours.

It's highly unlikely we would have gotten both Patterson and Franks. So I'm 100% behind Franks and always have been.

A guy like Patterson is not afraid of any Competition.

With that said, the fact his dad he (Sean) hasn't left LSU yet leads me to believe he's just trying to stop things so Shea can have a moment..

I still find it super shitty of LSU fans to just dismiss any guy we are even in the mix for before they even announce. Whether people want to believe it or not kids can still always change their mind. Same fans here were the ones bitching about the offensive line recruiting until NSD week.. Who on earth had us getting Chidi?

That's great people are behind Franks, they should be.. But anything can happen and you always want the best at LSU and for LSU.

From Sean's position, using your little brother as a bargaining chip is shitty.

If Ole Miss has offered him a position on that assumption, let Shea make his decision first and let the chips fall where they may.

he's going to Ole Miss. the sooner you accept it, the sooner we can move on to the 100000 threads about how Les keeps letting La players leave the state, 1000 threads about how tDecline is real, and eleventy billion threads on Miles and QBs.

but seriously, if you have the mindset that he is committed to ole miss, then its better than getting youre hopes up only to get let down, and in the event he comes to LSU, you dont necessarily mind being wrong this one time.

I have the mindset that a commitment doesn't mean shite in this day and age and a kid isnt going anywhere until he signs a LOI.

Using this approach, I'm never disappointed or wrong. You should try it.

My prediction, kid commits to Ole Miss and then after a few weeks (if that long) his brother accepts a job at Ole Miss.

Their family has it set up this way in order to be able to claim Ole Miss didn't buy him by giving a job for big brother.

Hope I'm wrong, but that seems the most likely way it is going to go down.

Kind of shame too, because Ole Miss will never, never win a NC, and I don't care how many players they buy, it will never happen.

They will be competitive from time to time, but that's it.

I wouldn't hate this as much if Ole Miss didn't start doing that fricking Landshark thing this past year. I looked up why they do that and it's not even a tradition. Tony Fein did it in like 2009.

I was expecting to hear that some ball boy or walk on who was in the hospital wanted them to play with some attitude or something back in like the 60's while he was on his death bed, but nope. It's because they beat Texas Tech in a bowl game like seven years ago.
