M Bistro at lunch in the Ritz. I would say its pretty damn good

I know OBrah's restaurant The Sammich in NOLA has a lobster poboy. It was pretty solid when I had it.
I dug the mango cream action they had going on. Not really what the OP is looking for, though

Never understood why people would look to a restaurant in X region to provide an authentic version of region y's specialty dish.
If you want a lobster roll. In new orleans make one yourself. Quick blanch the lobster a la thomas keller and then finish in a beurre fondue. Let cool and add to mayo and celery with some old bay
