I'm in the middle of this movie. I really like it. Clicked it because it had Rachel McAdams and a 7.8 on IMDB. Then it surprised me with a Margot Robbie appearance and a main character that reminds me of myself.

It could all be down hill from here, but McAdams looks as gorgeous as ever.

The last 10 minutes are the best. It's truly a great movie imo. Was criminally over looked by most. The trailers did it an injustice, made it look like a romance with a hint of comedy. When really it's a coming of age story, and about a sons relationship with his father. Which most movies get horribly wrong, and this one nailed. I'm extremely close with my father, and he is having a ton of health issues at the moment. This movie had me crying a fair amount at the end. They did such an excellent job of portraying what a good relationship between father and son looks like. Hit me right in the feels, hard.

Really great movie. Hits all of the right notes at the right times. My SO had seen a few scenes of it and convinced me to sit down and watch it with her one night. Incredible film. Far deeper and more emotional than your average romantic slop. It goes in a special category of romantic movies I actually enjoy along with "Love Actually", "When Harry Met Sally", and "Jersey Shore Shark Attack" (a true love story if there ever was one. )

I really wish Bill Nighy would get more recognition here in the states. He is one of my favorite actors.

About Time is fricking great also.

My favorite movie of all time along with IAWL and Groundhog Day.

Amazing thing is the guy that made it doesn't even have kids, but he was able to convey "it" better than any movie I've ever seen.

My wife and I cried multiple times watching this movie. I love it dearly.

I was having a day/night where I was being a typical female and feeling all emotional. Went completely by myself to the movies to see this, making a stop at Loft next door for a couple glasses of wine before the movie.

My arse curled up and cried from start to finish. People had to think I was insane.

Damnit, this thread makes me want to watch it again!

I liked it a lot . . . and recommend it highly.

I didn't realize, until recently, that the actor is the same guy who played Bill Weasley in the last few Harry Potter movies - he's also the main "good" character in the "Escape from Gringotts" ride at Universal. Think he is in the new Star Wars too.

It truly is one of the rare modern movies that has wonderful characters and a great storyline. Not many are made today like this. What first got me interested in this movie is I am a sucker for time travel flicks and thought why not it seems to have an Interesting concept. But I found it much deeper than I ever expected. At first glance there isn't a protagonist in the classic sense but in reality if has one of the most scary protagonist which is the impending loss of a loved one. The movie delves into questions of how would you use this ability. It is a movie that sticks with you long after it is over. Great cast and character development. One of my all time favorites now.

Finally watched this movie after reading this thread a while back

Holy shite

What a fantastic movie.

It's up there already as one of my favorite movies.

Thanks to the board for the suggestion.
