Just a guess,
But it's probably you suggested they do something like this happened three days ago, not 16 years ago.

We aren't downvoting NICU babies. We are downvoting you whining about downvotes.

Then at least learn how to reply to the proper poster.

I'm willing to bet she got to keep the entire strap-on collection.

LOL at the guy representing himself in a divorce. His hole card was the beenie baby collection.
People are so damn gullible. Plus they are all opened. I'm sure the smell of tv dinners adds to the values when time co.es to sell.

Well everyone that down voted those posts clearly hates premature babies then.
OTers hate premature anything. Haven't you read 480' peptide thread? They're all a bunch of limp dicks that can't hold their water.

honestly looks like a guy from the future that was transported back in time to determine why beanie babys were so popular.

In 1997 a parent of a kid in my mom's class said she was going to a Beanie Baby convention in Chicago and would take some of my sister's Beanie babies to sell for her. She took 22 Beanie Babies and brought back $15,000 to my 14 year old sister. Crazy thing is she had her initials written on all of the tags or she would have gotten even more.

It still amazes me that people really thought these things would increase in value and be worth something.
lol your a idiot. I still have over 400. I'm going to be a millionaire by 2020

I knew someone who bought a ton of those, some kind of dolls, Hallmark ornaments, and other "collectible" crap that supposedly increased in value and would be worth a great deal of money. I told her it was bullshite, but her faith could not be shaken.
After she died, the family thought they were sitting on a gold mine. They ended up selling a few items for modest amounts and then giving it away or throwing it in the trash.

My mom was into Beanie Babies, my sisters had a "beanie baby tower" for all of our beanie babies.
But my family was not into it as much as some other people we knew. We knew people who would drive 8 hours just for a single beanie baby.

I had a trunk full of beanie babies when I was like 10. All with tag protectors and I had some rare ones like Princess Diana.
I was 10. What's their excuse?

Being 10 is no excuse if you are a dude.

Yep, it is my mother in law. She recently moved from her house to a new smaller house and me, being the only son in law got to do the moving. WEll i come across boxes and boxes of these things unopened, still in there packages. I allready had a big dumpster dropped off cause she is a semi-hoarder anyway.
I told her i was bringing the like 200 beanie's to the local church nursery and she flipped the hell out. I mean went on and on about how much they were worth and that was her retirement. I literally LOL'd and that just pissed her off more.
Ended up moving a whole back of my truck full of them to the new house where they are stored!! WTH

same here. I think my parents ended up just giving them away when their value died. I was so pissed I thought I was going to be rich at like 11.

I wasn't in it for dolls. I was in it for the investment. I was quite the young entrepreneur.
And then I got addicted to Marijuana.
