Slim chance, but what would you do if you had to make the choice?

With modern medicine there's no way he should actually have to miss the game. If he does miss for the birth of his child I'd say it's an excuse to not play due to his messed up elbow.

I'm not in his shoes, but I would choose my child.

First child. Is this even a question? He won the Superbowl last year, he knows what it's like.

The birth, that is easy.

I have missed birthdays, Christmas', and other holidays due to being away for tournaments and other related things.

Super Bowl without a doubt. It's just way more important and it was known when his SO got pregnant that this was potentially an issue.

I also believe that the idea of being there when your kids are born is the most overblown idea. Who the hell cares? Yes, if you can be there then dammit, be there 100% of the time. There are TONS of things more important, a Super Bowl being one.

It's BS. The choice has been made.

Well Sherman and the Mrs. shouldn't have been having afternoon delights the first week of May last year….

Do yall really think this is a decision that has to be made? I feel like they could have the child early or delay the birth until after. I'm not a doctor and don't have any kids, but I would think that would be possible.

I would choose the game, unless he's actually delivering the kid. Then he should be with the baby mama.

Super Bowl, but spare no expense in making arrangements to get there as fast as possible after the game.

Super Bowl.

I think there is like a 1% chance he would miss the game unless he's actually hurt.

2nd Super Bowl vs 1st child....I'm going child. I'd go child even if it was my first Super Bowl. I'm just trying to make more of an argument for the child.

No matter his decision, he will regret his choice. I think he will regret missing his child being born a little les though, since he will have the rest of his life with his child.
