He demonstrated in the last couple of games of the season that he is a fairly talented QB once Cam changed the play calling to try to get away from the 3 and out game plan that we ran most of the season. If Cam/Miles decide to install an offense that tries to move the ball and tries to score points next season instead of the ball control 3 and out offense, both QB's as well as the recievers, OL's and RB's should look much better.

He can be a C+ to a B- max

I say he was a F+ at worst and a D+ at best this year

All I'm going to say is that "fairly talented" is generous, and I think after Miles recent comments towards Cauble about passing, he'd probably agree with me

Looked better? He was still under 50% and barely hit 150 yards. Honestly, he realistically can't improve enough. Some people have the talent and gifts, others don't. He doesn't from what I've seen the last year

he looked like shite at the end of the season just the same way he looked like shite in the beginning of the season.

adding a jet sweep to the offense isnt changing the play calling.

I think he will progress as well as JJ did between seasons.

I really think he's going to click this year. People really do not understand how bad his mechanics have been and are expecting a Mettenberger type transition immediately. He was well below average but there was never really guys open a whole lot for the guy to get rid of the ball. I like what the coaches did in the bowl game on the play action throws to desean smith from Jennings. I think if he can be composed and they give him opportunities early in games to gain confidence, he will get the job done.

I just done see jennings being able to improve. He has the same mechanical issues that he had from the get go and cant read progressions.

What about his play told you this? The sub 50% passing, poorly thrown balls and inability to look off his first option? Maybe the fact that if Dural is on the field, regardless of coverage, that's where Jennings is throwing it?

The dude did not play well at any point this season. Marginal improvement won't do for us to be successful with him at QB1.

When you play the QB position and you can't throw.....that's a problem

Seems to be a good guy and hard worker, but he does not have the arm strength to throw deep outs or fit the ball into tight windows over the middle. He is a decent runner but lacks speed.

By now we have to say he is what he is. Think of how many QBS were literally ready to play in the NFL after a little over a season of starting, Flynn, d.j. Shockley, and Newton are examples.

We would have seen flashes of real talent if he had significant upside. We saw those flashes with Harris even though he did screw the pooch in his only start.
