It would be exciting to see both LSU QB's compete in the two minute spread offense for a quarter or a half. Let fans see who produces the most total running and passing yards with the least amount of turnovers.

If one QB performs much better than the other, Les will have found himself a QB who can jump start the offense when the running game isn't producing 1st downs or during the two minutes before a half or if LSU falls behind early.

LSU's offense needs more options at QB, LSU needs to be less predictable, and LSU needs to be more exciting. Make it happen!

Excitement is nice. Consistently effective, productive leadership is optimal.

just what any football program needs. let the fans decide who plays. what else do you wish to empower the fans with, in addition to player selection?

how about play calling. LSU could set up a committee of fans and connect them so during a game they can vote and select the next play we run.

at years end, and election can be held and the fans can vote and determine what coaches will be retained and what coaches get canned.

surely, there are other powers you think the fans should have.

Beat idea ever! But let the frosh compete as well. I have a feeling one of them will be 2nd string by midseason.

Steel Cage Death Match!!!

Whoever walks out of the cage, walks out on the field.

Why are all of these qb related threads about only Jennings and Harris? If Jennings is as incapable as he has looked and Harris has not shown enough improvement to overtake him, then why are Kragthorpe , Clise , and Bergeron not given an opportunity to be included in the discussion? I say let's see them all compete. Was Rettig really that far behind? I don't care who starts. I'm tired of being a quarterback away.

That would be true in most cases. But in LSU's it's like trying to get 100 by multiplying 0x0.

There is no talent on this team that can be a functional QB in the system that we run. Les has shown since 2008 (excluding one year) that he is unwilling to run an offense with any amount of continuity or identity. Furthermore, Against ND he yet again showed that he is unwilling to run what is working (Fournette getting 4 touches in the second half).
