Houston. Moved here a few weeks back. Flew up to New Jersey and drove the SO here for good. We've been planning this for a few months, ever since I got this job opportunity here.

Wanna not like this cause lolDFH, but it is very good. The strong palo santo wood balances out the rich, malty brown flavors nicely and gives a dry finish. A little alcohol burn, some vanilla sweetness. Impressively light body for 12%.

I thought that beer was terrible every time I had it. The base beer is great but the BA version is thin and boozy. It tastes like a jack and coke to me.

My only full was 2008. Ran 2:49. Completely crashed and burned the last 3 miles.
Not in that kind of shape right now, though. I'd be more than content with 1:24 or better, especially since my left Achilles has me limping around like a 70 year old man if I sit down for more than 20 minutes.

This is pretty nice to me.... Not very boozy at all with nice stout roast a subtle barrel flavors. Maybe the age has helped it. I've never tried it fresh

I just gotta say, this 2014 BCBS is too friggin' good. No age needed. It's going to be hard to hang on to what I have to give it some age. Man. Blows 2013 out the water.
