For the Last Time - OUR OFFENSE WAS HISTORIC LAST YEAR.

Defense was the issue because of losing several players to the NFL. Usually at LSU the defense bails out the offense but i remember many times last year thinking that it was a year when the offense bailed out the defense. So for all the idiots looking at the LSU studs in the NFL this year and wondering why we didnt win more with them here - it was our defense (and a couple of other bad plays).
The 2013 LSU offense was one of, if not THE BEST we have ever had here and the first time in history LSU had a QB who passed for more than 3000 yds, an RB who rushed for more than 1000 yds, and 2 Receivers who caught for more than 1000 yds each.

Good Lord. No wonder everyone is content with our shitty offense.
Last year was historic

This year's offense was historic too! Just in the opposite direction.

This is a historic accomplishment. It didn't make for a historically great O. There is a difference. It cost us the Ole Miss game and didn't help against Bama. It was certainly very good and coupled with a typical great D would have likely won a championship.

So glad we finished 6th in the SEC in scoring. Truly historic.

Once again.... Playing the blame game for the 2013 season is fricking stupid.
UGA - Game is tied. D finally gets a stop and forced a punt. OBJ muffs the punt. UGA gets possession on the 20yard line and scores.
Ole Miss - Mett has 3 1st half INTs. Hill fumbles but recovers it, yet Miles still benched him.
Alabama - We drive the ball down their throats, just to have JC Copeland fumble on the 1yard line. Next possession, Mett fumbles the snap.
And the defense finished 21st in the nation in scoring, and 15th in yards per game. People act like our D was the worst in the country. No, they weren't as dominate as we have been recently, but they were not horrible by any means and were actually ranked well above average by the time the season ended.
And blaming 1 side for why we lost or saying 1 side was the issue is just stupid. Game changing mistakes happened / will happen on both sides of the ball. And those studs we had on offense made ther fair share of mistakes, same with out D.

Aren't you the same son of a bitch who started that thread about OBJ's hair style?

aTm scored 42 points against Bama, Auburn scored 34 points on them and the Big 12 Princess (OU) scored 45 on them. We scored 17. Their offenses must've been super-duper historic.
We scored 17 on UF. Georgia Southern scored 26 on them with zero passing yards for the game.
We scored 24 on Ole Miss. Vandy scored 35 on them.
We needed AJ to win the Arkansas game at home.
Our offense was great at times last year (UGA, State, aTm, etc.) and not very good at other times.

That's hilariously arbitrary evidence of anything.
3000 yards passing is quite pedestrian in today's college game, and when only two of our receivers caught 2/3rds of that we just might have a good indication of a lack of complexity, imagination, and involvement by other players.

I get it you are trying to be funny

it was historic relative to past LSU offenses. Nothing historic relative to the rest of the SEC about an offense that finishes 6th in the SEC in total offense. Oh my, good lord what could have been with a truly good offense coordinator. Another wasted year.

For the last time...HOW DID LAST YEARS OFFENSE HELP US THIS YEAR?

Where did this historic offense lead LSU in the post season? Oh wait....

Our offense was just middle if the road in the SEC. It was a fluke, productivity created by four rare talents running a shite scheme.
Prepare for this years production next year.

it was "historic" based only on LSU history.
But compared to the rest of the SEC and the country, our offense wasn't historic at all.
