She's lucky she got a tip.

I like the Louie episode where the waitress tells him she won't be making any money because all her tables are black. And he is shocked. So he tells the other waitress (who is black) what her coworker said, and she goes, (paraphrasing) "You born yesterday? Everybody knows ____ don't tip for shite"
He always has a way with social issues on that show.

$350 is a lot to spend at Popeye's.

Somehow I knew the dynamics of the group before I scrolled down.

How on earth do you ring up a $350 bill, even with drinks?
They knew they weren't going to pay full price.

I would just chalk you being seated in my area as a loss from jump street and focus my efforts on nonstereotypical bad tippers.

I'm pleasantly shocked that they didn't arrive at the restaurant 30 minutes prior to close or after 9 p.m.

Sadly, that is exactly right. I can't remember the last time I went out to eat where there wasn't a table with black customers complaining that something was wrong with their order and looking for a discount. I never really noticed it or even knew to look for that kind of behavior before I dated a girl who's family owned a restaurant. Now, it seems like restaurants know that is simply just a part of the business

Their prices are kind of on par with a Chilis. How on earth do you ring up a $350 bill, even with drinks?
There are some tables you wait on, hoping they order a baked potato and a water, but of course that never happens. I'm guessing 4 well done porterhouses, add on 4 lobster tails and shrimp skewers, oh and of course 4 top shelf patron margaritas... and don't forget the strawberry lemonade.. My heart usually sinks at this point because I know they are going in dry.
