Umm, you realize that nobody at the top of the world's food chain gives a shite about what the little peons around the world do in their shitty countries right?
ETA: The only other places where it is "normal" to be circumcised is muslim countries. How do you fell now Billy Bob?

Not by tripping over my foreskin.

I use to not care, but now I would of did it just to piss off the dipshits that get all up into other people's parenting decisions.
They are just lucky I had a daughter instead of a son.

But seriously, I'm more concerned about my saggy ballsack that's quickly approaching my knees at the age of 22.

From the CDC...
The HPV vaccination rate for teenage girls last year was approximately 57%. That's not terrible considering how long Gardisil has been around, but it's also not very good. And kids sure as hell aren't becoming less sexually active.
Considering HPV causes genital warts, cervical cancer, oropharynx cancer, and (less often) esophageal cancer; I think a 8-10 minute procedure with an adverse incident rate of less than .03%, that no male will EVER remember having, is a fair tradeoff for a significant decrease in your potential to contract the virus.
The pictures CAD posted are like a childs cartoon compared to postop pictures from patients with the above mentioned cancers. And that's not even accounting for the chemoradiation they go through before surgery is even an option in most cases. 1/3 of the cancers I saw during my 4 years at MDACC were linked to HPV infection earlier in life.
When >90% of parents become responsible enough to vaccinate their children, and we can build up some degree of herd immunity from HPV, then I think eliminating circumcision would be viable. But with the sexual habits this country currently has, not at this point.
SMALL tongue tumor! Probably a T2. I've seen males and females, as young as 27, end up with this secondary to HPV. I'd prefer the circumcision.
OP tumor. Less than 48 hours postop.

HPV (the virus): About 79 million Americans are currently infected with HPV. About 14 million people become newly infected each year. HPV is so common that most sexually-active men and women will get at least one type of HPV at some point in their lives.

Guys, unsnipped foreskin is functional...that's where I stow my gum if I'm not done chewing it yet.
Posted on 12/3/14 at 9:55 am to MSMHater
you actually believe having a little extra skin on your penis causes cancer?
you guys are the best.
i guess the rest of the world is one big cancerous tumor with only our JEWISH OVERLORD SAVIORS protecting our young by performing rituals where they cut the penis off and suck the blood out of the wound.
MURICA!

The guard (top center) is slid over the foreskin as close to the glans as possible to allow for maximum removal of the former without any injury to the latter. The scalpel is used to detach the foreskin, and the underlying blue bag is a sterilization pouch for the metal tools. The tube (center left) was used for metzitzah In addition to milah (the actual circumcision) and p'riah, mentioned above, the Talmud (Mishnah Shabbat 19:2) mentions a third step, metzitzah, translated as suction, as one of the steps involved in the circumcision rite. The Talmud writes that a "Mohel (Circumciser) who does not suck, creates a danger and should be dismissed from practice".[21][22] Rashi on that Talmudic passage explains that this step is in order to draw some blood from deep inside the wound to prevent danger to the baby,[23] and current medical knowledge confirms the benefits of the practice
CDC APPROVED, MEDICALLY AMD TALMUDICALLY SOUND!
eta i know a few catholic priests who would like get in on this baby penis sucking action!
prevents all types of cancer *AND* a creepy old jewish man gets to suck my son's bloody penis off???
COUNT ME IN!!!

Your comprehension is lacking. The virus causes cancer...FACT! The foreskin increases your chances of contracting the virus...FACT!
And yes, Europeon countries are also experiencing higher incidents of OP cancer secondary to HPV infection. I'd post the paper, but based on the emoticons and you're general lack of comprehesion (or just unwilingness to listen), I won't bother.

I'm snipped but I won't be snipping my future offspring
If my son is so stupid where I have to cut off a body part so that he won't get an infection, then i will have failed miserably as a parent.
