This game was not unlike 1/9. I feel for the qb, but the team has given up on him and our offensive scheme. The same could be said for 1/9/12 where there was an obvious option, but no change was made to attempt to change the outcome. Explain why LF did not get more carries, or Quinn did not see the field. Mistakes are not dealt with on an equal basis, and the team sees this.

Hopefully something will change because I have thought all year that LSU had the potential to be special. This group of young men needs a reason to bond together and continue to fight, and I think an obvious attempt by the coaches to turn things around could be that reason. JMO

Nothing will change as long as Miles is the head coach. DWI

Poor thread title. The offense did not play well, for sure, but the defense played its arse off and did all it could to keep LSU alive in the game. Don't insult those kids who gave it their all with your shitty post and title.

I don't think they gave up. They lost two O-line starters and their coaches couldn't adjust to help them out. Also they could not match the emotional intensity from Arkanasas, when things were not working.

Miles looked like a fricking scared child every time they showed him on the sideline.

We have no pride. We should pay Auburn whatever they want to let us play Alabama at the end of the season. That way it doesn't cost us as many games when we give up after losing to them.

I noticed it when the camera showed AJ on the sidelines trying to talk to the offense and they just ignored him.

Defense played well enough that we should have beaten Arkansas by 3 TDs. Offense just sucks.

LSU fan for life, but as long as Leslie is in Baton Rouge he will never beat Bama while saban is at the capstone nor win another title. Deep down inside even the Highland & Lee World Unicorn riders know that.

Life is not fair. Plain and simple. The coaches obviously did not feel like these two gave them the best chance to move the football Saturday night.

I disagree the team did not give up, actually that is truly insulting the team. When you have a game plan that fools no one "especially the defensive players and DC" not even the fans from the stands, then executing those plays becomes extremely difficult. This has more to do with play calling that players giving up.

I think there is a good chance that LF was injured. Miles has a weirdness when it comes to the QB position. Look at his record. Judge for yourself.

I guess so the offensive scheme involves running up the middle, or pass plays to a single WR. It is by far the most predictable offense in college football. Do we ever just pass out of shotgun when its not 3rd down? Do we ever run toss plays or counters or draws? It's like Miles wants the most simplified offense he can field. Unfortunately this piss poor offensive scheme requires an OLine that can handle 8 in the box, and not many can. I'm sure its frustrating to the OLine to continue running into 8 in the box.

I def think the OL kinda gave up... and I cant blame them.

They are tired of having to block 9 guys in the box with 6. And when its unsuccessful, people say they suck and blame them. Which is absolute BS. If we had just an average passing attack, we would not be seeing 9 in the box 85% of the time and our OL would be fantastic.

But they do see 9 in the box 85% of the time and when we do throw it, its incomplete over half the time.

I would be tired of that shite too if I was them.

the team and coaches quit, although Miles was typically a mental no show anyway

Nothing in this team gave up

The dagger was losing to Bama when we were the better team that night.

Having to be perfect in this one dimensional offense is killing LSU

The biggest turn around I have seen out of this team this season was the PLAYERS ONLY meeting the seniors held after Auburn. Following the momentum of whatever happened behind those closed doors came our first conference win, the Kentucky beat down, and the big one against ole miss! then came a bye week with nothing but hands on preparation from our staff (not like that didn't happen in the span i just referred to) and well....

I'm just saying things were going pretty awful...the team said we don't like this we'll take it upon ourselves to change and it did.

Maybe we should lock our wonderful coaching staff out of the meetings more often??
