How Early do you Wakeup before you Leave?

So today I didn't go into work as early as I usually do cause I was going to the doctor, and it allowed me to get a glimpse of my girlfriend's morning routine. I've seen it before, but everytime I'm reminded of it it stresses me out.
She snoozes for about 30 minutes. Then wakes up in a panic and takes a quick shower or works on her hair. She's running back and forth looking for outfits, grabs a breakfast bar and sprints out the door to make it to work, reading emails as she closes door.
That sounds like absolute madness. I get up an hour before work. I have a nice shower, cook a solid breakfast, pack a lunch, watch the news for a bit and then leave. She always asks me WTF I do for an hour, and I can't imagine how she starts her day in a whirlwind like that.
Who is more normal? Do you start the day like a tornado or ease into it nice and slow?

You're doing it right, but women don't do this.

I get out of bed about 30 minutes before I leave for work.
Typically I'll prep breakfast and lunch the night before.

I wake up two hours before I need to be at work, but I commute 75 miles. Definitely not a mad dash for me.

I leave 15-20 min after I wake up. I am not a morning person and get stir crazy if I am up an hour early.
My wife does more like you. Only she spends all that time putting on war paint.

It takes me 10-15 minutes to get ready each morning from the time I get out if bed to ignition of truck.

I wake up an hour early as well, easing into the day suits me much better. Read my bible, read headlines, get my mind right. Used to be the whirlwind type could never go back to that.

I hate feeling like my day starts at work.
I wake up at 5:00. Some days I exercise. Other days I read. Some days I do both.
Take my time showering and getting ready. Make coffee and breakfast and sit down to eat it.
Leave for week around 7:40.
The only flaw in my plan is when I have to work late and start running out of gas around 5pm.

I have never understood people like this. Why get up so early when you don't have to? There is nothing going on that early in the morning. What time do you go to sleep at night?

I wake up at 7, and leave the house for 7:35pm. shite, shower, shave takes about 20 minutes, the other 15 is for breakfast/getting dressed.
