As much as y'all say that, I don't believe it.

This

I wish we would get candidates who's sole mission was to repeal 99% of the crap passed the last 20-30 years.

I don't understand why the state's constitution needs to be amended to change the persons on a committee...

Do you need help with your brakes? I'll be around this weekend and I can give you a clinic.

I don't understand why people think it's such a big deal. It's usually just words added deleted or changed to something that already exists.

I voted yes.

People say it did not need to mandate were members came from, but the original way of doing it mandates that 3 MUST come from S. LA.

Why is it so unfair to even it out? As it is now the 3 from the south and additional members from the south dominate the majority of the committee.

The guy who proposed the change is from Vernon Parish and wildlife is one of his big agenda's. I think they are wanting to get some people on the committee from North LA and were stonewalled. This was another avenue to get it done.

A legal avenue still remains...

I voted no, because I think Texas and Arkansas should be in charge up there.

. That is what amendment 7 did, and y'all voted no.

Seriously, we need amendments. There are things we never thought of, like the marshes disappearing, like helping disabled veterans have a home, like finding a creative way to continue to provide healthcare services to the elderly.

To carpetvote no I don't understand.

Well said tigerfoot
I don't get it either.
As a voter, it's your job to educate yourself and make a decision on each and every vote you cast.
