Has changed her mind

Brittany Maynard has officially decided to delay her decision to kill herself under Oregon’s assisted suicide law on November 1. She says it “doesn’t seem like the right time now” to end her life.

Got her 15 minutes, got a few vacations and her bucket list funded, and has changed her mind. Interesting.

I always thought setting a date was weird... what if she started really suffering sooner or was still feeling okay when it comes along?

I agree. I think she will know when the time is right.

People should be allowed to kill themselves -- it doesn't matter if they change their mind after they're dead

It's not illegal, just frowned upon.....like jerking off on an airplane

Probably, but I always thought it was about her 15 minutes. I don't care if she does it, but the fact that she went to the media, ended up getting thousands of dollars in donations, and ended up on People Magazine makes you wonder.
It should have been a private moment. She did it publicly to spark attention. Other than the first person to do it under Oregon law, we haven't heard much from the hundreds of others.

And?
She's still a 29 year old terminally ill woman.
And you're total dick.

had she just posted that she has brain cancer as a young newlywed, she would have gotten all the same trips funded by the internet.
to take away from the work she is doing trying to get this drug legalized and raise its awareness before she dies by implying she was only in it for the money is a total dick move.
