Jesuit a long field goal away with 3 seconds left... but Ken Trahan says they're not

Boo. Good showing by Jesuit. Let's take care of brother Martin next week

kicking from 52 in that situation might be a bit unrealistic in high school, but if any school has a kid that can do it, it should be Jesuit...
and besides kick it. you're going to the playoffs, probably hosting round 1 if not round 2, you really have nothing to lose

I went to the game. Rummel had a lot of mistakes/penalties and a costly fumble and botched center snap. They were able to drive the ball against Jesuit, but these mistakes held them back from at least putting 14 more on the board.
Don't get me wrong Jesuit has a good team, but Rummel made it a lot closer than it had to be.

Untrue.
FIRST DOWNS
Rummel 10
Jesuit 16
RUSHING YARDS
Rummel 68
Jesuit 57
PASSING YARDS
Rummel 131
Jesuit 172
TOTAL YARDS
Rummel 199
Jesuit 229
Plus, Jesuit's QB threw a bad INT in the redzone at the end of the first half, costing them a field goal which obviously would have been crucial.
Great matchup. Hope they meet again in the playoffs.

I knew Trey Ragas for Shaw was going to give the Crusaders fits, and he did. Big credit to B.M., however, for not quitting and coming up with the plays necessary to win.
It's kind of sad, as a West Bank kid, to see 200 Shaw fans at Tad Gormley. Waaaaaaaaay back in my young days, the Shaw Band was bigger than that. :(
8-0 for Brother Martin and Jesuit this Saturday afternoon.
