Has anyone had experience shooting a yildiz O/U? From the few people I've talked to, they say that it is pretty good first O/U. I don't want anything real flashy for my first O/U, especially since I'm not big into skeet shooting, just a good reliable gun for the little upland/woodcock hunting I do. Would love to get big into it eventually.

For being a broke college kid, this would be something realistic to save up for in the near future.

They are the perfect gun for a broke college kid only looking to put a couple hundred rounds of upland loads through it per year.

They are absolute shite for anybody that's "big into" shooting (thousands upon thousands of rounds per year).

I traded for a Huglu, Turkish made 20ga O/U about 2 yrs ago. Gave equivalent to about $700 for it and have been happy with it. It doesn't have ejectors like your higher end Brownings or Beretta's will have, but it's fun to shoot.

I have one in 20gauge and it works fine. Great for doves, teal, etc... And I don't worry about something happening to it.

CZ Upland Ultra-light. Under $600 in most places and is as reliable as you'll find.
