what do you have?
i can't for the life of me justify another $5-$6/per bulb to get the ability to individually turn them off from my phone.
come on. i get home automation..garage door, front entry, HVAC, but really? do i really need to be able to individually turn all the bulbs in my house on and off?
fwiw my outside ones are covered..i'm using the dimmable CREE in them and they come on at dusk and light up when they sense motion so i'm strictly looking at indoor lights.

I don't have any, but I'm considering it. I have an old knob-style dimmer in the living room. I recently put CFLs on it, and that hasn't worked out so well. Horrible buzzing noise at the switch. Don't care so much about them not being dimmable, but the buzzing sucks. I wonder if LEDs would fix that. Don't care about the "smart" part of it either. House is too old to mess with automation.

I go to Costco and get the High efficiency bulbs. I would like the front porch to be automated to turn on at night but that's it.

I've got some Collection LED bulbs off of Newegg last year for between $6 and $8 per bulb. Haven't had any go out on me yet.

I'm considering getting two for the lamps on our night stands... I don't see the point having them anywhere else. Would I just need the bulbs?
