Nope. But I regret selling all but one. And the one that got stolen I really regret that that happened to me.

There are a bunch a regret not buying too.

Clearly my vehicle hoarding fantasies are not compatible with city life.

Yes. If I had known I was going to move, I wouldn't have gotten a new one. Went from spending hours a day in my vehicle to a few minutes.

Yes. I really regretting trading my last one, but needed 4 doors at the time. Spent a lot of time researching and lookingn around and decided in it.

It got totaled 9 months later, so I had a 2nd chance. Couldn't make a decision, so decided the research I had done before was valid despite newer more desirable cars being available. Bought the same car again. Good car, but it doesn't have everything I want. 2014 Honda Accord EX-L V6 with Navi.

Not my most recent one. 420hp, 12 second 1/4 mile, surprisingly big trunk, and 24mpg combined so far with me driving like an a-hole.

My buddy bought a Ford Fusion Hybrid, and the car was a disaster. I think he just got a dud. It was in the shop the whole first month he had it. Made them pay for that month and the rental.

Even after that was settled, there was this annoying rattling. It took three different trips for them to figure it out. And the guys said they removed a part that they didn't think had a use. Not exactly comforting.

In November of 2012 I bought a 2013 Ford Escape with the Titanium package. I really liked the look of the vehicle, the gas mileage, and all the high tech bells and whistles. With the Eco-Boost turbo it even had some zip. In the year that I had it I had the transmission go out (covered under warranty but 5 weeks in the shop), a electrical harness go bad (at 38K miles so it was outside the bumper to bumper and paid for out of pocket), 4 recalls, and an issue with intermittant stalling that Ford can't replicate. After it stalled on me while pulling through an intersection I traded that POS in for a Toyota Tacoma. That Ford was the first new car I've ever bought, and maybe last

My wife's escape just got issued a buy back from ford. Pretty much the same issue. We went through the arbitration process and won our claim.

I have a 2011 BMW X5. It's a very nice car, hauls arse, hugs the road, etc; however, it just cost too damn much. After about 6 months of owning a new car it's just transportation. Get something comfortable, reliable, and Japanese.

Funny, I just got rid of my 2010 X5 3 weeks go. I loved it, but the luster wore off quickly when it left me stranded on the side of the road. I was absolutely sick of the non stop alarms that went off in it. BMW has an alert for everything, it's annoying. I had the 100k mile warranty and service plan though, so it didn't cost me anything.
I needed a truck though, I hated not having a bed to put things in.

I have a truck and my wife has a 5 series. That damn car is the sweetest vehicle I've ever driven. It is just downright awesome. The manual transmission, the linear torque of the inline six, the steering...I've never actually floored a vehicle so much. I can't wait until it's my daily driver and not hers.

I hate buying cars. The whole process.

Even if I love the car, I always regret buying it from a dealership.

I had a Ford F150 and a Chrysler PT that truly sucked. I hated them.

Reading through theseposts confirms my preconcieved notions about certain vehicles.

Older Chrysler products were crap.
The Escape has issues, not all of them Eco-Boost related.
BMW still has work to do where reliablity is concerned.
VW is hit or miss, mostly miss.
Nobody wants to buy a used Prius and spend $3K on batteries.
Range Rover was and is still, Range Rover.

The puzzlement is the F150. They have a pretty solid rep.

went from a brand new challenger ( had problems with it day one)

to a Toyota FJ Cruiser and I havent looked back. That thing is bulletproof. Its not the most aerodynamic, but its reliable.

Oh, and I used to have a 2004 f 150.. that thing was a POS . Took care of it, changed fluids etc.. motor seized at 70k miles

I'll probably win this, but I got rid of an 08 F250 a couple of months ago. Owned it for four years. It was in the shop, I shite you not, for almost three years.

Within the first 10k miles that I owned it, I had to spend about $3k replacing all of the joints up front because it had death wobble. After that came $1800 worth of tires. Next thing to go was both front hubs at $250 a piece. Then, I spent around $27k replacing engines and getting it running over the three year period.

I spent more money fixing it than I paid for the truck. To say I regret it would be putting it lightly. I have made some bad decisions in my life, but that was he far the worst. I spent so much money fixing it, that I couldn't pay my bills on time and had to keep getting extensions, and I had to end up borrowing money to pay for the repair bills on the truck. That thing put a huge damper on my already stressful life

Eta: It looks like Ford is the biggest POS manufacturer in this thread. I will never own one again, and you couldn't pay me to drive another Ford diesel

Maybe you shouldn't buy used so you won't get someone else's lemon. I've owned several Fords, and all have been great for me.
