I had an '08 Prius bought when gas was a little more expensive.

It didn't get 50 mph.

bought my wife one in 2013. I drove it to Omaha for the CWS and averaged 53. In the city the highest I've gotten was 61 but I was solely trying to set the high score

And fwiw, I absolutely love my 4Runner and don't plan on selling it for a very long time.

I owned a Chrysler in the 80s that sucked donkey dicks in hell.

Yeah, Detroit's build quality was at its absolute nadir then. I bought new a mid-80s Mitsubishi badged as a Mopar, it was a great car but the domestically-produced Chrysler products were absolutely abysmal.

I don't regret buying a Subaru. But according to the internet the engine is going to blow any second. I went from an Expedition and I do miss the space. Didn't have any trouble with the Ford that wasn't typical of a 2001 with 165000 miles.

F250 6.0, broke down on the way home from the dealer. Dealer agreed to take it back though.

Last Ford I ever owned, and coincidentally, the last time I had a vehicle broken down on the side of the road.

I bought a used z71 2009 model about 18 months ago low mileage, enjoy the truck it's only used on the weekends. I only wish I had purchased the 4 door instead of extended cab.

2011 GMC Terrain.

Terrible gas mileage
Zero acceleration, must have been 0-60 in 30 seconds
The felt carpet crap fell down from the roof
Terrible pioneer audio
USB only worked with iphones
A/C broke twice
Timing chain had to replaced due to manufacturing defect
Fuel pump had to be replaced

All in 60k miles, unloaded it earlier this year. Not sure why my wife thought it would get better

Those vehicles are notorious for having major engine failure with very few miles driven.

Back of the car has a Lakeside Toyota thingy on it. This car is definitely what I traded in.

'97 cavelier I bought for the wife in '96. Died a month after I paid it off. Towed it to a "push, pull, drag your trade" deal at a lot and got a a loaded Montana for her.

First new car I've ever purchased for myself- 2013 wrangler rubicon 10th anniversary. I love it. Had it for over a year now and I still stare at it in the driveway. My only regret- not having my CJs anymore. One day I may finish the scrambler build that's sitting in my shop that I started 4 years ago.

Not often.

2014 vw TDI. Gets 50mpg and hauls arse. Pretty nice little car for the price and I spend a lot of time in it.

The new is starting to wear off though. I get frustrated at it for being a car sometimes, but I really would be a raging dumbass to have a truck with my job.

The 2500HD stays loaded up and ready to go to the camp.

He doesn't have car smarts.

Those cars don't move well on the used market.

I regret buying the 2014 Camaro in Feb. If I had known I was moving to D.C in October, I'd have avoided. I didn't even have that dream then.

I can't get the equity out of it to make sense right now. I'm not taking dead money on a 8 month old vehicle with 6,000 miles on it.

Especially at this trim level that honestly, if you're buying a 45K Camaro, you want it brand new to begin with.

I'm stuck with it for now. As soon as the low miles and equity align, I'm out of it.

Not my most recent one. 420hp, 12 second 1/4 mile, surprisingly big trunk, and 24mpg combined so far with me driving like an a-hole.

bullshite. I own the 14 Camaro and Mustang may get. May get. 15-16 on the highway.

And the Mustang ain't getting 420 stock off the lot.

Traded in a Dodge Mini van for a fully loaded new Chevy Suburban in 2007 (LTZ) loaded with everything. Besides spending 44K the truck has been a nightmare with all sorts of problems. It has been in the shop many times and costs a mint to keep on the road. I keep it because my family likes the (roominess) and I am damned sure not buying another)

It gets 16 MPG highway 11 city and the tires are $1200.00 a set. Yea me! I hate that damned truck.

I had a T-shirt with "I AM THE ANTI-CHRYSler" printed on it. One day I wore it to the Dodge/Chrysler dealership to protest against the shitty car they sold me. Even the sales turds git a laugh out of it; they knew what a shite brand Chrysler is.

I have been driving for about 19 years and I have only owned 4 vehicles.

1990 Toyota Corolla (lasted over 200,000 miles)
1995 Chevy Corsica (lasted about 125,000 miles)
2005 Nissan Altima (lasted 175,000 miles)
2009 Nissan Frontier (current vehicle)

I never had a serious problem with the Altima until I got to 170,000 miles when I had to rebuild the transmission. Because I never had any problems before that, I fixed it and less than 3 months later it was involved in a total loss accident.

My current vehicle is the Frontier and it is a solid truck.

I never had a problem with the Corolla. Nothing but problems with the Corsica and I finally dumped it once I passed the Bar Exam.

I will likely buy Japanese for the rest of my life.
