Who has done it and what were your thoughts? Trying it out tomorrow.

I need all the help I can get. I use a 12, and after this weekend I need to use a 10.

Never done it, but unless the wind is really blowing, you should be good.

I wish I had one. Ultimate dove gauge.

I've used a .410 and it wasn't THAT bad. You're conscious of it and you shoot better.

16 is the perfect dove round imo.

My old boss shoots a Benelli 28. Loves it. Low recoil when you are on a hot field.

Used my uncle's Benelli Legacy 28 on a dove hunt and a quail hunt. Definitely makes you more aware of how you are shooting though. For high volume wingshooting, there is nothing like the 28 because of gun weight and lack of recoil.

Should have contacted me before you acquired the gun -- I'd have made you the proud owner of a 28 gauge O/under Browning (NIB).

You'd be looking good with this gun.

Friend went to Argentina this year to wear out some dove. They had them for them there and he said he liked it. You are literary shooting as many as you can physically pull the trigger on. They are like rats there. Said it saved his shoulder, but still came home red and bruised.
