Can't run the ball out of the power I so he rides the bench.

I've been wondering the same thing. It appeared he was poised for some PT, all the talk was how great he looked off the injury and about his positive influence on the true freshmen. Of course, the type of offense we are currently running we really don't need a 5th receiver.

I don't mean the 5th receiver thing as a flame it just isn't in the playbook right now.

We have a playbook that consist of run...run....pass....punt

Couldn't you also ask, "what's wrong with Q. Leslie"? Just because his last name is Peterson does not qualify for playing time. It is evident that he's running at least #6 or #7 on the depth chart based on playing time of WR's.

A lot of people though Avery was going to be a stud just because he's PPs brother. Well, he's nothing like PP.
He was a 5*player, top WR in the nation, and top player in the state of FL after his sophomore year of high school. But that was his best year of football. He never really progressed after his sophomore year. After his senior year, he almost dropped out of the top 250 (247) and ended up being the 42nd WR in the country and 39th player in the state of FL.
At the Under Armour All American game, Avery was labeled"most disappointing" player there. And they questioned his work ethic and attitude and how serious he was about football. And I've heard the same things about him at LSU. He has talent. Don't get me wrong. But think its more mental and checks in and out too much and coaches constantly stay on him at practice.
At best, he's our WR6 right now behind Dural, Diarse, Dupre, Quinn, and QL. And think Chark and Spears will pass him up at some point this season too. Just not that good.

while funny, there's some truth in that statement. Hanagriff made a great point last night...if the goal is to put your best 11 on the field, is having the FB and 2 TEs that are basically extra tackles, your best 11? or is having 1 RB and 3-4 wides w/ Dural, Quinn, Dupre, Diarse(maybe Peterson is 5?) your most talented 11?

Can he play linebacker?

Miles, or Cam, won't put him in. Dupree and Quinn have passed him.
Put Avery In!!!!!

Didn't he redshirt?
Last year. For an injury.

Does anyone really think that Miles always plays the best 11 on either side of the ball? I say he allots playing time based more on risk aversion than upside potential on the field.

His attitude isn't helping him

Academics shelved him for a year
Injury shelved him for a year
o catches 0 yards
Hasn't played competitive football in 3 years
I definitely think he is the missing link
