Like everyone else, I agree with your nice neighbors.
Do something about the dogs barking all day. Nothing more annoying.
Set up a pen area in your kitchen or something
We use 2 of these to block off the kitchen so they are inside but if they poop its on tile

Everything except bird that you mentioned are only an issue briefly, then move along. A dog barking does not, it is continuous. And as for birds, I would imagine they are not as loud as a barking dog.

What exactly are you bitching about? She communicated with you before she contacted the authorities.
Usually in these scenarios, people call the cops before speaking the with the dog owner and the narrative then can be "what a bitch move".

The authorities can't do anything but ask you nicely to resolve the issue with your neighbor and try to get your dog to stop barking as much

i had this issue with my side neighbor and my front neighbor.
They barked ALL DAY EVERYDAY. Its got to be the most annoying thing in the world

honestly, i don't think they can make you do anything, or fine you for that matter, unless there is a noise ordinance law specific to the area. if that's the case it's going to take not just one neighbor complain but multiple (or at least get them to write letters). HOA may have more pull than the law in cases like this.
