Being dominated by the 5th best team in the west AT HOME may have something to do with it.

This was the worst loss of miles career at LSU.

They might not be the 5th best when it is all said and done. They're better than most would like to admit.

I get that. But it doesn't change the fact that they lost 3 times without a logical explanation to think that number would go anywhere but up. So a loss against a team like this shouldn't be a huge surprise

I know lots of people will disagree, but you're probably right.

ehhh, arguably. I would say Ole Miss last year was worse just because they were a 3-5 SEC team

How on earth can you say, with certainty, that they are "the fifth best team in the west?" How can we truly know that, at this point?

That's a bit premature. Perhaps MSU wins the west, would this really be the worst loss ever?

You realize the SEC West by itself makes up the better halves of every other conference?

stop being such a drama queen. It wasn't pretty, but State may just be a much better team than anyone wanted to admit last week. I can think of plenty of losses that were worse. How bout getting blasted at home in 2008 by Ole Miss by 20 points and them taking a knee inside the 10 yard line. How bout Ole Miss last year or in 2009? Alabama BCS title game?
