Mack Brown and Phil Fulmer won a lot of ball games, and recruited real well. Both won a national championship and Mack even played for another. But then the decline started and we all know the story...

The story is both those teams looked even worse after moving on. I hope people ready for a change are really ready to go down that path. Look at UF.

5 losses is a disaster.

I'm not sure what path it's puts us down long term but the measuring stick programs (which we used to be part of) don't have this worry it seems.

I have no such delusions for this year's team, just adding a little fuel

Texas still making the most money. As long as that is the case why change. They haven't been a contender for years and still they are winning the money game. This industry is not about the game being played on the field.

Ignorance is bliss, I miss being a student. Didnt care about any of this.

most predicted 3-4 losses before the season, is 5 that much worse?

name these "measuring stick programs"

or did you really just mean to say Alabama because I can't really think of any other team that has not had a down year recently other than Alabama

With our OL not blocking very many people(Grimes WTF), and apparently many misses in recruiting DL, how can we get better. Yes Quinn, Malachi, LF, DW, Adams, Paris, Harris, and it goes on and on will be better players next year and should improve this year as well.

But if the lines don't improve we are screwed in the SEC. We know the scheme will not change much until the coaching staff lets the QBs loose. They obviously have little faith in them now and probably good reason for it.

Thats why they got to play, they will get better as the season goes on. We make a few of those plays in the passing game and we could have still won.

It's not because of this loss. It started when we became the first SEC team to lose a BCS National Championship. We still haven't recovered

This is what it's going to take, before Alleva finally gets rid of Miles. By that time, it's going to get very ugly for this program.

Before the season started... This is a young inexperienced team that will lose 3-4 games...

Lose for first time week 4 against a good team... We are the worst team ever/Miles is the worst coach ever/Players are the worst players ever...
