Another Great Meal at Butcher

Had the craving last night, gf and I sat at the bar.
To start, house veggies in a tangy vinegarette. Would have taken a pic but were devoured instantly. One thing I've noticed on my latest trips is how much I enjoy their vegetable small plates and sides. Pairing with the veggies we had fried pig ear terrine with chili paste and mint. Mint may be my new fav pairing with fried dishes. (At Cochon they do a fried gator with mint that is superb)


On to the mains, I went off the limb and tried the lamb with cucumber and mint, she had the gambino per my recommendation. Lamb was served as a classic gyro, but again dam the fresh cucumber and mint just set it to another level.

The Gambino was so good I could see Tommy Devito eating one in between his Cutty n waters.

We had these with a bag of house chips.

And also randomly the bartender handed us a boudin and pickle plate "from the kitchen". I was like, "umm yes I will!"
