frick with the bull and you get the (other kind of) horns

The Satanic Temple has announced that it will provide pamphlets on Satanism to students in Orange County, Florida, in response to a school board decision that allows for religious materials to be disseminated in public schools.

quote:

Among the materials to be distributed are pamphlets on the Satanic Temple’s tenets, philosophy and practice of Satanism, as well as information about the legal right to practice Satanism in school, the group said in a press release.

The move comes after the Orange County school system decided earlier this month to allow Bibles, as well as atheist materials, to be distributed at public schools.

take that, kind sir!

And this is why you have separation of church and state. It is for the protection of both the state and religion.

Don't care. I'm sure neckbeards everywhere think this is slam dunk proof of hypocrisy though even though said hypocrisy hasn't happened.

What did the school board think would happen with their decision? Couldn't they have seen this coming?

It's like the school board has no foresight whatsoever. I hope the satanists cm distribute their stuff peacefully.

Saw this similar article yesterday.
quote:

In the wake of this ruling, the Satanic Temple is handing out its own religious literature to Orange County schools: “The Satanic Children’s Big Book of Activities.”

Not sure if it's been covered but they sued the frick out of Apopka High School for a prayer after the football games, even though not a single person in the district complained. What a fricking joke.
