Why are people behaving as if they played the song but put it on mute when she would have been singing...?
Because if you read the article the OP is based on it says this:
quote:
A portion of Jay-Z's "Run This Town" featuring Rihanna was cut from last Thursday's Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game
It never mentions a "skit" or that a song was cut entirely, it says a portion of a song was cut.

Genro won this thread.
It amazes me the hypocrisy in saying:
Rhianna has the right to blast CBS but CBS doenst have the right to terminate their arrangement.
Genro and a few other who took the emotion out of this and just applied logic and common sense. Others showed small mindedness.
kudos

I didn't see anyone saying that.

Who said CBS doesn't have the right to do so? The main argument was what CBS did was dumb--whether it was within their rights or not. Looks like reading comprehension isn't your strong suit.

Meh, I should have worded differently.
You are such a dick though...

Based on his posting history, I suspect that if Rihanna weren't quite so tan the OP would have taken literally the exact opposite position.
In fact, I'm sure of it.
Once again you've proven that you don't know shite about me.
It has nothing to do with the color of her skin.
It has to do with the fact that she has no class.
CBS was giving her millions of dollars worth of publicity and her trashy mouth blew it.
If she had any class whatsoever she would have told CBS that she had no problem with them preempting her performance in order to discuss the important topic of domestic violence against women by men.
Instead she acted like a diva which is a bitchy woman that must have her way exactly, or no way at all. often rude and belittles people, believes that everyone is beneath her and thinks that she is so much more loved than what she really is. She is selfish, spoiled, and overly dramatic.
CBS isn't going to put up with that sort of behavior and rightfully so.
