I dont have too validate anything. I think its very possible that lsu's offense could struggle but i have faith they'll get things fixed. Regardless i think LSU's D wins the game for us. See my 9-6 prediction.

State's front 7 was going to shut LSU's offense down.

Based on their performances versus the mammoth rushing attacks they've played this year, right?

How Dural was fast but that he wouldn't be able to make a big enough difference

I guess he's also ignoring the other receivers then.

Sounds like he's doing his best to make a case against us. Weird.

It was a general statement. Not necessarily directed at you... but you have to say that you think they'll win just to keep off the rantards who hate your "negative" comments.

State gave up over 500 total yds and 3 70+ yd Td passes to UAB. fricking UAB

We may not be as consistent as some would like. But we have the skill players to make huge plays like that.

I think we struggle to run out of the I-formation or 1 WR sets here.

I don't think we do that all that here. We need to start throwing out of the 1 WR set. We used to run the quick drop slant to Landry and it literally never failed to get 5 yards.

If we can get that play down again it would be good.

So, this guy is only an analyst? I tend to listen more to those who actually played the game rather than someone who only looks in.

Even if LSU's offense struggles, MSU isnt going to put up many points against LSU's Defense. I only see MSU winning if their D-line dominates, they make a big play on special teams, and they win the turnover battle.

I hope our defense dominates, but where was that defense the first half of week 1? I really do like our defense, but State is pretty good on offense and they were matching us score for score last year until a big turnover in the second half killed their momentum. Granted, we are better defensively than last year, but they are probably better offensively as well. I won't be shocked if they score a few points (14-24 range).

Through three games we have not shown the ability to keep defenses honest

Will has little to do with it. An inexperienced QB with a Dural fixation leaves us a bit one-dimensional.

Because, they are about to get an "L" on Saturday. It would have been a waste of time...

It shouldn't be close because their secondary is not too great. The style we use could play into making the game a close one, however, what the team needs from a national perspective is a comfortable (12+ point) win, IMO.

i wouldn't say its a fixation. he just has a favorite WR. quinn and diarse have their share of looks.
