Oh no Patrick Robinson playing is 10 on 11 same as Porter would be. Except for when Robinson is committing penalties of course.

Aren't you the guy that would rather have Leonard Fournette instead of Ingram right now?

I would love to have Sproles back. The Eagles were moving down the field at will just by throwing him screen passes. Why did we let him go? We thought age was catching up with him.

Thanks for adding nothing of value to this conversation at no time did I say cooks wasn't a good decision. I stated earlier in this thread Cooks has more upside. The fact is there are far more dynamic wide receivers than there are pass catching running backs and the saints are worse off by not having that offensive weapon

im with the guy who follows the team and realizes we were going to end up having to cut Sproles. he was going to become a cap casualty. getting a pick for him was a gift.

also, when was it decided that Cooks should be brought into this conversation. Sproles being traded had to due with contracts.

We chose PT over Sproles and it was the right call

We signed the top free agent available, so blaming Brees is retarded

You realize PT had 77 receptions last year. He's a better runner and a better screen catcher

There threads are dumb. You can't keep everyone it's okay for a former Saints player to do well with another team. We have Cooks and I'm satisfied

so you "fixed" it by bringing up even more irrelevant things?

you couldve done a better job at trolling by naming Graham.

True Championships are not decided in September. Sproles has never been on a Conference Championship NFL Team.

Mike Bell has a Super Bowl Ring...what does that tell you?

Saints made the right call. Ingram, Robinson, and Thomas are a great trio of backs. Colston, Graham, Cooks, and Stills are great receiving options. Our line is solid...so our future hinges on a top 5 D a year ago and a HOF QB...I like our chances over Foles and the Eagles

And he's the most complete back of the 4 we had last year. He's the best pass protector of the 3 we have on the team right now. He's arguably the best 3rd down back as well. If Ingram goes down (which he has his WHOLE NFL career) for some time and you have Khiry and Sproles (but no PT), you have issues with pass protection.

Khiry isn't a great blocker, nor is Sproles.
PT was a safety net to Ingram's injury history and its still the right move as of right now. I bet this week he goes for something like 10 rushes 40-50 yards and 5 catches for 60 yards.

Oh look another idiot blaming the brees contract.

Where do you prople come from?

Any one who thinks sproles wouldve made a difference between 0-2/2-0 isnt worth discussong with.

Sproles wouldnt have helped the D against ATL or PRobs atrocius performance against cle.

Fricking idiots.

The thing a lot of you guys are not accounting for is the coaching & scheme to match your personnel......Execution hasn't been the greatest in our passing game, but it's been Payton who continues to pass at inopportune times....Sproles got the bulk of his yards on screen passes, yet our screen passes haven't done squat and the reason for that is not personnel, but again it's the timing of the plays being called....Sproles would not be making a difference on our screens so far this year when they are 2-3 defensive players on the runner in the back field
